Atlassian is implementing significant price and package changes for its cloud products as of October 16, 2024. The price adjustments affect Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management and other products, among others. Certain Jira Service Management features will also be moved to higher-value editions and some services will be converted to a usage-based pricing model. To ensure a smooth transition for affected customers, Atlassian is offering a transition period and special discounted rates.
What has changed?
Atlassian will increase the list prices for the following cloud products:
- Jira: 5-10%
- Confluence: 5-10%
- Jira Service Management (JSM): 7-9% (1-250 seats), 8-20% (251+ seats)
- Opsgenie: 5-10%
- Atlassian Guard: 5-8%
- Bitbucket: 10%
- Compass: 14%
Certain discounted cloud rates, such as for Jira Service Management, Bitbucket and Opsgenie, are also being adjusted.
Changes to Jira Service Management features
Some Jira Service Management Cloud features are being moved from the free and standard editions to the premium and enterprise editions. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Major Incidents
- Post-Incident Reviews
- Chat-Ops
- Problem Management Templates
Customers actively using these features will be given a 12-month transition period to facilitate the changeover.
Pricing based on consumption
Features such as assets objects and calls with virtual agent support will be transferred to a consumer-dependent pricing model. Customers approaching the new limits will also receive a 12-month transition period before the new prices take effect. They will then be offered a three-year preferential rate.
